Adsense Review – Max Your Earnings With Adsense
As you probably well know, Google Adsense provides a great opportunity to capture profit from your website. By allowing adsense ads to be placed on your site, you can receive a small commission every time someone happens to click through on one of the adsense ads.
I’ve recently come across a training video presented by two Google Adsense team members from Australia. I’ve embedded that video below, so please feel free to take the time to watch what they have to offer. A couple the most important things in my view that they discuss are to create channels, and to blend your ads effectively.
Create Channels For Performance Tracking
Adsense offers you the opportunity to create “channels”, which track the performance of various adsense placements and compositions on your website. This is a very good way to enable you to track which of the ad placements perform best for your particular website.
What we should do is to create a set of special channels for each website, which are broken down into the types of ads that you present. For example: Header, sidebar, footer, and intext ads.
Ad sense, then collects the data on click throughs and earnings per click through for each of the channels on your site. You can then use this data to determine which kinds of ads and ad placements are working best for your particular site. The idea is to test and test again to optimize the composition and placement of the ad sense boxes.
Blending of Adsense Ads
You will also see in the video that the adsense experts strongly recommend that you tailor the presentation of the ads to blend effectively into the background and colors of your website.
For example, if the background of your website or blog is white, then the background of your adense add should also be white. You should also adjust the color of the text in the ads to be consistent with the text and background images for your website.
This not only makes the adsense blocks blend more effectively into your website, research has also shown that people are much like more likely to click on ad blocks that are well blended into the context of the website.
Here is the video I mentioned above. I think that the 11 minutes or so that it will take you to view the video will be well worth the effort.
